Questions and Answers

WHAT IS GOING ON?

Cache Bank & Trust and Mountain Valley Bank have merged. Mountain Valley Bank is a part of Platte Valley Companies which offers a wide variety of financial services besides banking, such as home and business insurance, investment services and trust services. Mountain Valley Bank customers also enjoy an expanded array of commercial, ag and mortgage product offerings.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

You will continue to receive outstanding customer service from the great people you’ve come to know and trust, now with more options on products. This also means you will have additional locations to serve you in northern Colorado, eastern Wyoming and the panhandle of Nebraska.

WHAT IS CHANGING?

Both Cache Bank & Trust’s full service locations will become Mountain Valley Bank locations. We are working towards a seamless transition with no significant changes for you.

IS THE NAME OF THE BANK GOING TO CHANGE?

Yes, the name of your bank will change to Mountain Valley Bank upon the merger, but will continue to use the trade name “Cache Bank & Trust” until October 2022.

WILL THERE STILL BE LOCAL DECISIONS?

Absolutely. Not only will they be local but they will continue to be QUICK. The entire Cache Bank & Trust team will continue to serve customers and take care of their needs as they have for many years.

WHAT BANKING CHANGES SHOULD I EXPECT?

There will be no interruption in access to your accounts or services due to this announcement. You may continue to use your debit and credit cards, checks, online and mobile banking, and all other services as you always have. Please continue to make loan payments according to the terms of your loan.

WHAT ONLINE BANKING CHANGES SHOULD I EXPECT?

You will continue to have access to the same online banking platform and information you have today. Later in 2022, we will integrate Cache Bank & Trust customers to Mountain Valley Bank technology, and you will continue to access all accounts, make transfers between accounts, pay bills electronically and view check images as you do today.

WHO SHOULD I CONTACT WITH ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS?

Please contact your banker or other team members at Cache Bank & Trust or Mountain Valley Bank with any questions. We will continue to communicate with you directly and provide ongoing updates as our integration  progresses.  As always, we thank you for your business and the opportunity to serve you.
